INSPECTION
We perform NDT in the following methods:
- Ultrasound
- Magnetic Powder Inspection (MPI)
- Penetrant inspection
- Visual inspection
We have a certified welding inspector according to. NS477
We are also "approved service provider" for DNV.GL and carry out inspection and grading of all types of mooring equipment related to the offshore buisiness. We have modern and efficient facilities for chain inspection and can deliver very competitive conditions.
CLASSIFICATION OF SHIPS
We are also approved by DNV-GL for classification of ships.
ENGINEERING SERVICES
We provide design, calculation and drawing on:

We design and calculate foundations and brackets on land, on board ships and platforms.
We plan and calculate sea insurance according to the IMO.
We use 2-d and 3-d CAD. Finite Element Analysis program as well as hand calculations of nodes, welds and bolted connections.
MECHANICAL
We provide good technical reports after the work is done. Wergeland SafePort also has service cars and mobile equipment so that we are able to carry out jobs wherever the customer needs are.
